Quick Update Here

The rest of our shipment is scheduled to arrive Tuesday. We tried paying more to have them here quicker, we've talked with shipping representatives internationally and locally, and we've said pretty please about 100 times. That is the very best we could do. We will have all orders shipped and sent out by Wednesday. 

The majority of the US and International orders have shipped already. 

Everyone Has A Tracking #, Not All Have Shipped

Whether your order has shipped or not, you should have gotten an email with your tracking number. Don't worry if your tracking hasn't updated. All that means is your order has a watch that hasn't arrived yet. We have created shipment labels and pre-packaged all orders in advance to help speed up the process once the watches get here on Tuesday. Your tracking will only begin updating once it is first scanned into your carriers shipment. 

We really appreciate your patience with the delays. Everyone has been very patient with us and we truly appreciate that.

Shipping Update

Hey backers,

Our apologies for the lack of information since our last update. We ran into a few issues which are all explained below. These issues took some time to figure out what was going on and to get them resolved so we wanted to have answers when we sent out a new update. Again, we try to find a balance of communication to not irritate those who prefer fewer emails and keep those who like constant updates happy. Our solution is to only send updates when we have important and significant information to update on. Like we've mentioned in previous updates, if you would like more communication please email us at [email protected]. We respond to emails within 12-24 hours.

Delivery Update

We've been working like crazy and pulling every string we could find to get the watches here and delivered within our estimated shipping time of the end of December. We're excited to say we're going to make that for the large majority of our backers. However, there have been a few unforeseen delays that will make it so some of you won't get your orders by Christmas.  We were well aware of all of the potential delays with production and shipping since the beginning of our campaign. Some of you will receive watches by Christmas, some we're still hoping we can get them in time, and a few (particularly international backers) won't make it by Christmas. We have had many sleepless nights working with shipping agencies, airlines and truckers to get these watches here as soon as possible. 

Delays

As our last update said, we were expecting to have all the watches here and all orders fulfilled over the weekend. When our shipping company went to pick up the watches from our manufacturer, the watches weren't ready to be shipped (frustration). So we missed our spot on the plane. After some long nights working with our shipping contacts overseas, we got the watches on a plane on Thursday. Our hope was that the watches would clear customs in California Friday morning and get to us by Friday evening so we'd have the weekend to fulfill all orders. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. They sat in a customs warehouse over the weekend, made it through early Monday morning and were delivered to us Monday afternoon. We had all the order packaging and shipping labels ready to go with expedited shipping. We have now shipped most of the U.S. orders. 

The not so good news is when the watches finally arrived, we were 12 boxes short. Three of the watch models (Orca 2, Black Hana 2, and Gold Hana 2) didn't make it here with the rest of the watches. We've spent the last 24 hours doing everything we can to try to track them down. We finally have and we wanted to give you all a heads up now that we have some solid information. 

It seems the 12 boxes were left behind by our shipping company (more frustration). So, we're trying to get them here as soon as possible. There is some hope of them arriving tomorrow (Wednesday). If they do, we will have every U.S. order containing those three models shipped by Thursday morning with 2-day Priority mail so they will get to you by Christmas. If they don't get here by Thursday, a Christmas delivery for orders with those watches will not be possible. 

Please remember that as bad as we would have liked a Christmas delivery, there are a lot of variables with Kickstarter campaigns and we were careful never to guarantee Christmas or December delivery. 

U.S. Orders

Many of the U.S. orders have already shipped and will be arriving in the next 1-3 days. Three of the watches (Orca2, Black Hana2, and Gold Hana2) didn't make it here with the rest of our shipment. Those three watch models should be arriving soon (we hope tomorrow). If you have one of those watches in your order, your watches will ship shortly and if we can get them to you by Christmas with expedited priority 2-day shipping, we'll do it. 

Please understand that once orders are shipped, we don’t have any control over the post. While shipping delays are always possible, we went with Expedited Priority Shipping because it has a great reputation for speed and reliability. We hope this mitigates those possible shipping issues.

International Orders

Your watches will be shipped with expedited international shipping, but with the longer international shipping times and customs delays, we’re so sorry to say your watches will not arrive by Christmas. We’re truly sorry that we aren’t able to get your watches to you by Christmas. Trust us when we say we did everything we could to make that happen. We spent more on production to increase manufacturing times, we expedited importing, we pre-labeled packages and teamed up with a fulfillment company to speed up the order fulfillment process. Even with the extra expense and effort to get them to you in time, we’re barely going to miss it. 

We hope you understand that while we would have really liked to deliver by Christmas, we know there are a lot of variables with crowdfunding and were careful not to make a promise we couldn’t keep. Like we mentioned, your watches will still receive expedited shipping. Depending on your location, your watches will start arriving shortly after Christmas.

Finalizing Addresses

We will be locking in and finalizing all addresses on Tuesday the 12th at midnight. Please make sure that the address you provided in the BackerKit survey is correct. This is very important as the watches will be sent to that address.

If you need to update or change your address you will be able to do that in your survey. If you are unable to access your survey, go to this link and enter your e-mail. The system will then send you an e-mail to access your survey so you can adjust your address if needed.

Christmas Delivery!

Hey All,

Just a quick update here. The holidays are coming up and we are aware that many of you purchased watches with hopes of giving them as Christmas/Holiday gifts.

We are on track to have your watches delivered by Christmas! 

The final stages of production are getting wrapped up in the next day or two and we will be shipping the watches to us via air freight to speed up the process. We have teamed up with an excellent local fulfillment company who will be shipping or initial order to help us fulfill orders quickly. We have also chosen expedited shipping methods to help those watches get delivered to you by Christmas.

While every effort has been made to ensure delivery by Christmas, please keep in mind that we don't have any control over shipping or customs delays. This is especially true for international shipments. These types of delays are not common but are always a possibility. Every effort is being made to avoid any such issues and get your watches to you by Christmas. 

We will continue to send updates as often as we have more news on expected delivery dates, fulfilled orders, and tracking information.

Still On Track!

Hey All, 

Just a quick update here. Things are going smoothly with production and we are still on track for delivery in early-mid December. All of the raw materials have been delivered and we are well into production assembly and things are looking great!

We understand that some backers love constant updates while others would prefer to not have an email hit their inbox until it's their tracking number. We do our best to find a balance of not being annoying with updates while still keeping those backers who'd prefer more communication informed. We will continue to send updates as we have important information to share such as completed production, bulk order shipped, individual orders shipped, and tracking information. We will also send an immediate update if there are any foreseen delays.
