Quick update, here.
We are about a week into production now and things are going great! All the raw materials have been ordered and delivered and production has officially started! We will keep you updated as we continue progressing through the stages of production and fulfillment.
Don't forget your survey!
There are 100+ people who haven't completed out their survey on BackerKit. If you haven't chosen your watches, you still need to complete your survey. The email with your survey was sent to the email you used to place your order on Kickstarter. Sometimes this email gets filtered into promotion or spam email folders. If you haven't seen yours, try searching "BackerKit", "Luno" or "Lunowear" in your email search bar. If you still have no luck, reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll help you out. If you've already completed your survey, you're all good!

All because of your amazing support, the Luno2 campaign is officially funded, over, and wildly successful! Luno Wear was born on crowd funding. Without supporters like you, we wouldn't be around. The value of your support does not go unnoticed. So, Thank you!
Don't miss out on getting your watches! As of right now, there are around 70 payment issues (declined or expired credit cards). If this is you, Kickstarter sent you an email to resolve the payment issue so please take a look to see if you need to update your payment.
Everything you'll need to know for the next few days, weeks, and months is listed below.
On Tuesday, September 5th, we will be sending you an email to complete a simple survey to choose your watches and confirm shipping details. Please keep an eye out for this email and finish your survey as soon as possible. Our order could be delayed if not enough people fill out the survey in time.
As a thank you for your support, you will also have the opportunity to add watches to your order for a DEEP discount so you can get your gift shopping done early. Grab one for a friend who might want one or just grab another watch for yourself.
It takes Kickstarter 14 days to process and send us the funds. Keep a lookout for emails from them in case there are any payment issues (declined credit cards, expired credit cards, etc). You'll have a chance to fix it if there is a payment issue.
After 14 days, Kickstarter will send us the funds. It takes 2-3 business days before it hits our bank account but the second it does, we will begin production.
We will be placing the order around September 17th. From there, our production time is +/- 50 business days and importing will take a week or two (largely depending on customs). This puts delivery time in early to mid December (depending on domestic vs international). We realize this is cutting it close for holiday delivery but we will do everything we can possibly to make sure they are delivered in time.
Hopefully, that gives you a brief overview of what to expect for the coming months. We know you are going to love your watches! If you think they look great in the video and photos, just wait until you get them in your hands! You won't be disappointed and the pre-order wait will be well worth it.

13 Days To Go!

Hey Backers,
We want to reach out and tell all of our supporters.... Thank You! We saw a boost in pledges over the last week and we attribute that to all of you sharing our campaign with your friends and family. We are very excited to see what these last two weeks brings.
We have had some questions from backers on the process of how to choose their style of watches and how the rest of the process will go.
As soon as our campaign ends we will send out an e-mail to everyone that will include a link that will take you to a personal survey where you will be able to choose your style of watch and also enter in shipping information (we will have procedures in place that if you move during the manufacturing process you will be able to enter in a new shipping address before we ship). We will then gather all the surveys and start manufacturing the watches.
During the manufacturing process we will do many quality control checks to make sure this process goes smoothly and efficiently. Once we have all of the watches in hand we will send out a final notice to update shipping addresses if needed. It will then then take us a few days to ship out all of the watches. Domestic addresses should receive their packages in 3-5 days and outside the US addresses should take about 10-15 days to arrive.

Ladies and Gentleman, we're on the home stretch!
We only have three weeks left on our campaign, which means you're that much closer to getting these watches on your wrists! You're going to love them. We did our best to portray the quality, style, and design of these watches but pictures and video never do them justice. You're going to love them.
Several of you have asked about stretch goals. We have some really exciting ideas for those including extra leather bands, more size options, and different model options, but with the top of the line components we're using our minimum order quantities are really high. Ergonomic. Because, Why Not?

You will love how they look AND how they feel
Growing up in a family of watchmakers, I've owned every type of watch imaginable. It wasn't until we were designing our first line of wood and leather watches that I realized how much I prefer a lightweight and comfortable time piece. Each of the watches from our first line weighed less than one ounce and people loved that about them.
When we started designing the Luno 2 line, we knew we wanted to use stainless steel, sapphire crystal, and a high water resistance rating. Each of these elements tends to add a lot of weight to a timepiece. Having built a reputation of offering lightweight and comfortable watches, we knew we were going to have to find a way around that.
A minimalist stainless steel case was an obvious first step and a huge step in the right direction, but that alone wasn't enough. We went back to the drawing board and started to design a watch case that would conform to the natural concave of a wrist. We measured wrist angles when flexed and the curvature when not flexed. We designed our watch cases around a wrist.

Okay, so we realize we're not changing the world by designing an ergonomic watch, but if your watch can look great AND sit comfortably on your wrist, then why not? Right?
